rope park... so fun!!

When jumping and flying were not enough, we climbed to incredible hieghts, tied to ropes by carabeners and harnesses, to practice our strength and balance. The zip cords down were fun too!

Para-gliding...best way to see Switzerland

1st extreme leap we took in Interlaken was para-gliding. Birds eye view photos of Interlaken is pictures taken while we were in air. Gondolas are for wimps!

Canyon Gliding! holy s&%$

'Canyon Gliding', as they call, was the second extreme experience in Interlaken. Paragliding helped us ease in to our crazy adventures the first day (see later post). When canyon gliding you bungy jump 100 meters down into a canyon then swing above the rocks and river below. The four of us went into this with all the courage we had, and no one hesitated once the count down began. Major props to Joe who offered to go first! Oh, and the cool guy who held our lives in his hands was Neil.

EXTREME!!!! Interlaken

The best way to share our stories of Interlaken is to simply show you our footage. NOTE TO OUR MOM'S: our extreme experiences were for the adrenalin rush and the thrill of it all, not because we stopped loving you or do not recall and appreciate strong advice and wisdom you have provided for us all these years. So, sit back, relax and enjoy some extreme jumping 100 meters into a canyon, para-gliding above the mountains in Switzerland, and swinging like monkeys high up in trees at the rope park. Oh, and the Interlaken posts would not be complete if we failed to mention the fantastic Australian couple who were our partners in crime the entire Interlaken trip. It would not have been nearly as fun without them!!!!!!

Lyon continued...

Lyon

People might think that Paris is the food capital of the world, but we beg to differ. World famous chef Paul Bocuse peppered the city with his french cuisine. 'If the way to your hearth is through your stomach, Lyon will have you at "bon appetit".'

more pics of Nice...

Nice. Unofficial capital of the french riviera

We layed out like sardines in the glitter of the riviera in Nice. When not on the topless beaches we enjoyed Nicoise cuisine. Very relaxing part of our trip.
